This churros recipe is astonishingly easy and makes truly great churros that are hot and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The molten chocolate dipping sauce is mandatory, and you’ll have an entire batch on the table in a mere 20 minutes!
Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups flour
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Frying oil
Tahini date syrup dip:
2 tbsp “Achva date syrup tahini” spread
2 tbsp coconut milk
1/2 a banana
1 tbsp crushed nuts & honey mixture
Chocolate tahini & cherry dip:
2 tbsp “Achva chocolate tahini” spread
2 tbsp cherry liqueur
5-6 cherries
2-3 tbsp cherry juice
Peanut Butter halva dip:
2 tbsp “Achva Halva Spread”
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp chopped peanuts
instructions:
Boil water, oil, sugar, salt and vanilla extract in a small pot. then add flour and baking powder. mix until the flour is cooked.
Remove from fire, and set to cool.
Transfer mixture to a mixing bowl and slowly combine with the eggs.
Transfer to a 16-inch piping bag fitted with a rounded star tip (no bigger than 1/2-inch).
Carefully pipe mixture on a baking tray, and freeze for 15min.
Next, place into preheated oil about 6-inch lengths, cut end with clean scissors.
