Grilled Sea-Bass with Tahini & Spicy Tomato Sauce

An easy make-ahead fish recipe featuring the most wonderful tomato chili sauce with an intense depth of flavor and a tahini topping. The perfect midweek supper with a kick


  • 1 whole sea bass
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 onion
  • 4 tomatoes 
  • 1 chili pepper 
  • 400g yogurt 
  • 1/2 cup raw Achva tahini
  • 1/3 cup water


  • Heat your oven to 200 degrees celsius
  • Season the fish with salt, pepper and lemon, then place in the oven (or grill) till crispy 
  • Blend yogurt, tahini, 1/2 a lemon and the water, until creamy.
  • Grill chopped tomatoes, onions & chili then mix together in a separate bowl and season with lemon, salt & pepper. 
  • Place Tahini yogurt sauce, tomato salad and fish on a large plate, drizzle with lemon & raw tahini and enjoy!
